The conference will discuss the development strategy of low-rank coal in the APEC region, the advanced utilization technologies and industrialization practices of low-rank coal, and the investment and financing of coal chemical projects, aiming to share the achievements of advanced technology research and development and the industrialization status of low-rank coal. Promote the transfer of related technologies in the APEC region and achieve a win-win situation for APEC member economies in the energy sector.
Low-rank coal accounts for nearly half of China's coal reserves, and direct utilization efficiency is always a problem that the coal industry urgently needs to solve. It is particularly important to further improve the efficiency of coal resource utilization, and to master and utilize advanced low-rank coal technology to develop coal-based polygeneration. Promoting organic integration of chemical production and energy conversion will be the focus of China's industrial transformation and upgrading in the future.
Nearly 150 people, including energy companies from the construction of low-rank coal projects, research and development units for low-rank coal-related technologies, and representatives of investment and financing institutions in the coal chemical industry, will participate in the conference.
