BYD's pure electric sanitation vehicle manufacturing base starts in Leting

    Recently, the sanitation vehicle manufacturing base invested and constructed by Beijing Sanitation Group Environmental Protection Equipment Leting Co., Ltd. started construction in Hebei Leting Economic Development Zone. The “Jin Yao Lan” pure electric sweeper developed by Beijing Sanitation Group and BYD will also be produced at the Laoting base. The total investment of this project is 1.5 billion yuan. It is planned to produce at the end of this year. After it is officially put into production, it will produce 15000 sanitation vehicles annually.

    The project covers an area of ​​500 acres, a total construction area of ​​184,000 square meters, mainly for the construction of sanitation vehicle parts production lines, vehicle chassis production and assembly line, R & D center, inspection center, office buildings and other ancillary facilities.

    The project uses the most advanced German flexible welding production lines, automatic robot supporting equipment, CNC plasma cutting technology and other high-end equipment and production processes. It mainly produces new types of sanitation-specific vehicles and equipment, including sprinklers, sewage suction trucks, garbage transfer vehicles, road sweepers, snow removal vehicles, and special vehicles. After completion and production, the manufacturing base will annually produce 15000 special vehicles for environmental sanitation. The sanitation vehicles and equipment produced by the project will be sold to Beijing, Jiangsu, Hainan, Guiyang and other domestic provinces and cities as well as Cuba, Brazil and other countries.

    The BYD pure electric sanitation vehicle is the first sanitation vehicle in the Tiananmen area. It is the world’s first zero-pollution, zero-emission, low-noise, low-heat radiation scrubber. As a sanitation vehicle in the Tiananmen area, the vehicle participated in the ceremonial service to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War on September 3, 2015, and was used as a model for new energy vehicles in the sanitation market.

    Relevant person in charge of Laoting County stated that after the completion of the project, it will become the largest new energy sanitation vehicle and equipment manufacturing base with the largest single monomer capacity in the country. The annual operating income will be 5.44 billion yuan, the profit will be 150 million yuan, the tax will be 180 million yuan, and new jobs will be created. 860.
