What made this burn particularly remarkable was the height of the grasses—some standing over 20 feet tall, creating a dramatic backdrop for the fire's controlled spread.
The burn was part of an ongoing effort to manage local prairie ecosystems, helping to restore natural habitats and reduce the risk of uncontrolled wildfires.
