The first high-density LED array, the CXA1520, helps lighting manufacturers create a new generation of products that offer the same intensity and light quality as 39W ceramic metal halide (CMH) spotlights, with a maximum power consumption reduction of 50.
The high-density XLamp array expands Cree's robust CXA series, providing lighting equipment manufacturers with a single integrated array of applications ranging from general floodlighting to professional retail spotlighting. At 33W, 85°C, Cree's XLampCXA1520 LED array delivers up to 3,478 lumens.
It also supports ANSI white and four-step EasyWhite color temperature binning. The new LED array covers a color temperature range of 2,700K to 5,000K, and the Color Rendering Index (CRI) offers options of 70, 80 and 95.
The CreeCXA1520 LED array assists ConTechLighting Lighting to develop the latest LED luminaires that enable them to exceed the efficiency and longevity of the ceramic metal halide luminaire (CMH) product line while maintaining light intensity and color quality.
