However, copper oxide ore is often severely weathered, and the impact of the slime in the beneficiation process brings great difficulties to the copper oxide beneficiation, resulting in low recovery rate of the ore dressing and unstable operation.

For the guidance, under the premise of ensuring the recovery rate, the copper and cobalt concentrate grades are maximized, and the concentrates which are suitable for modern metallurgical processes are produced, and the copper recovery rate exceeds 90%. At the same time, it also solves the filtering problem caused by the slime. The process can remove the alkaline substances in the concentrate, which will greatly reduce the acid consumption of the wet smelting, thereby greatly reducing the operating cost of the wet smelting. This innovative process is also widely used for the copper oxide and cobalt mines in Katanga and other minerals. At the same time, the process has broad adaptability to changes in ore properties.
