    Originally designed to meet the zero leakage and maximum stability requirements of atomic power environments, the hermetic motor pump is now widely used in the general industry. They are especially suitable for corrosive, flammable, explosive and toxic clean liquid applications because their primary advantage is that they are ultra-conventional centrifugal pumps.

    For example, the construction of Nikkiso pumps is closed and provides primary and secondary fluid contamination, such as the need to separate the process liquid into two separate physical barriers before the pump / motor leaks. And because there is no outer shaft on the sealed motor pump, there is no need for any expensive, cumbersome field shaft adjustments, unlike traditional sealed or long shaft couplings. Magnetically driven pumps require shaft and motor seals to be adjusted. Because the Nikkiso pump body and motor are incorporated into a sealed motor pump, the number of consumables is reduced, thereby reducing the inventory of consumables required.

    The HK Series pumps feature a two-stage design that features small form factor, high functionality and series speed control via an external frequency inverter.

    Compared with the performance of multi-stage pump, they are smaller and more efficient, lower operating noise. Because of their improved efficiency, HK pumps are not only economical but also reduce operating and maintenance costs compared to multistage pumps or side-channel pumps.

    Other features and benefits include a shaft push balancing system that extends pump life; low maintenance and low NPSH R values. If necessary, you can also choose to prevent ATEXB fire-type closed-type motor pump.

    Applications for these pumps include vacuum systems, reverse osmosis units or applications that require low cost, high pressure delivery of corrosive, flammable liquids, and safety and efficiency.
