On February 3, the reporter learned from Inner Mongolia Mengda New Energy Chemical Base Development Co., Ltd. that the company's annual production of 500,000 tons of engineering plastics project construction is being carried out in an orderly manner. With a total investment of 10.4 billion yuan, the project ranks in the forefront of the country, adopts advanced equipment and technologies, and has a demonstration role in the engineering plastics industry.
At the end of last year, the project kicked off construction in the Wushenqi Wushenzhao Chemical Project Area in Wushenqi, Ordos City. The cooperation between China Coal Energy Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Yuanxing Energy Co., Ltd. was held by China Coal Energy Co., Ltd. The annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of engineering plastics project is to use Boyuan Lianhua to produce 1.2 million tons of methanol per year and Mengda New Energy to produce 600,000 tons of methanol per year as raw materials, and to build an annual output of 300,000 tons of polyethylene and 300,000 tons of polypropylene. It can produce 500,000 tons of engineering plastics and other by-products annually.
At present, in the engineering plastics industry, the annual output of 500,000 tons of projects is very small, and most of the projects are limited to 50,000 to 250,000 tons. The project has a demonstration role in the transformation and development of more and more enterprises in the domestic engineering plastics industry.
