On the afternoon of January 9, 2016, Nantong COSCO Heavy Industries successfully shipped the SD1215 hatch cover of Sungdong Shipyard in South Korea.
Six days ago, the last batch of NE194 built by Nantong COSCO Heavy Industries for Nantong COSCO Kawasaki Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. and the first batch of NE199 hatch cover were successfully delivered to the shipyard.
At the beginning of the new year, Nantong COSCO Heavy Industries successfully delivered three batches of hatch covers within one week, and production and operation reappeared. The SD1215 hatch cover order is the second batch produced by our company for the 180g BULK ship of South Korea Sungdong Shipyard. It has a total of 18 hatch covers and a contract tonnage of 648 tons. On the basis of summarizing the experience of the first batch of hatch production and delivery, the employees of the company successfully delivered the SD1215 hatch cover through unremitting efforts, which was fully affirmed by the shipowners.
