In May this year, the Development and Reform Commission approved the Shougang Qiangang project. The construction site of the project is Qian'an City, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. The main construction content includes ironmaking, steel-making, steel-rolling and auxiliary facilities. The project will form 7.8 million tons of iron, 8 million tons of steel, 6.37 million tons of hot-rolled sheet and 1.2 million tons of steel. Cold rolled sheet production scale. In the same month, Guangdong Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Base Project and Guangxi Fangchenggang Iron and Steel Base Project were also approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. The sum of the above projects will have a total investment of over 100 billion yuan.
Since May, the Ministry of Environmental Protection has newly accepted the EIA report for a number of major projects. Specifically included: Dandong Civil Aviation Airport Reconstruction and Extension Project, Baotou-Maoming National Expressway Guangdong Province, Suzhou Port Taicang Port Area IV Project, Shaanxi Guodian Xi'an Xijiao Thermal Power Plant “Shangda Small and Medium†2×350MW Expansion Project and Beijing, Shanghai and Fuzhou Rail Transit Project. After a rough calculation, if the above project is approved, the total investment will be around 44 billion yuan.
