STX shipbuilding flat construction of 51,000 tons of chemical tanker launched in 30 days

In late January, South Korea's STX Shipbuilding Company successfully launched a 51,000 dwt chemical tanker for the Italian Aba Ba shipping company on the flat ground of its Zhenhai Shipyard. The construction period of the ship from the start to the launch was shortened from the original 52 days to 30 days, which was significantly shorter than the construction period in the dock. The ship was launched through the chute, and the ship was built on the flat ground and then glided directly onto the barge connected to the shore.
