The Brazilian Ministry of Trade announced on Monday that it will implement anti-dumping measures against TDI produced in the United States and Argentina for a period of one year. Brazil took this action because its only domestic factory producing TDI stopped production. This decision was first announced in November last year and it was intended to last for five years. TDI is a raw material for polyurethanes, glues, lacquers and some other products used in the fields of furniture, mattresses and automobiles.
