Forward-looking Industry Research Institute released "2011-2015 China's valve manufacturing industry production and sales demand forecast and transformation upgrade analysis report" shows that as of the end of 2011, China has more than 1 sized valve companies (annual revenue of more than 20 million yuan), the industry to achieve Sales revenue was 148.368 billion yuan, an increase of 26.86% year-on-year; total profit was 13.763 billion yuan, an increase of 32% year-on-year.

At present, China's valve manufacturing industry has been able to provide users with about twelve categories, more than 3,000 models, more than 4,000 specifications of the product, its performance parameters range from vacuum valves to 600Mpa ultra-high pressure valves, the temperature from cryogenic -196 Celsius to high temperature 570 degrees Celsius. Its main products have basically been able to meet the needs of the domestic market, and the valve market's rate of complete sets, complete sets of levels and complete sets of capabilities have greatly improved, the domestic valve has already had a certain foundation for revitalization.

However, China's valve industry is still dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises. At present, the competition in the industry is mainly the competition of low-end products. Informal competition means are disrupting the development of the market, causing greater damage to the valve manufacturing industry.

Zhang Xiaolan, researcher of the valve manufacturing industry of the Industry Research Institute of Forward Looking Industry, said that with the acceleration of the pace of reorganization of the valve industry, the future industry will be a competition between valve product quality safety and product brands, and the products will be high-tech, high-parameter, highly resistant to corrosion and have a long lifespan.
