Yuchai enters Dory China's largest engine plant

On September 28, Hubei Yuchai Doring Engine Co., Ltd. officially started production in Wuxue City. This marked that China’s largest engine manufacturing company fell to Hubei, and Yuchai’s first North China agricultural machinery production and sales base officially operated. On the same day, Yuchai's first batch of products in Hubei was brought offline.

It is understood that Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. is China's largest production base for internal combustion engines. In May of this year, Yuchai acquired an overall bankruptcy-related Hubei Duoling Machine Co., Ltd. with a bidding price of 18 million yuan, and plans to invest 100 million yuan in the first phase for the equipment modification, purchase, and production of the new plant in Dohling.

According to Li Hanyang, Chairman of Yuchai Doring, the new company is one of Yuchai's only two single-cylinder diesel engine production bases in the country. Currently, it is mainly engaged in the production of single-cylinder diesel engines that are in the leading position in the industry, and will use the head office. The sales network puts products in domestic and foreign markets. After the completion of the first phase of the reconstruction of the company, the production capacity can reach 300,000 units per year, with sales revenue of 450 million yuan. Within three years, 600,000 units of single- and multi-cylinder diesel engines will be produced and sold, and the sales revenue will exceed RMB 1.6 billion in five years. The company will strive to build an “aircraft carrier” for the diesel engine manufacturing industry in Central China.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Yuchai Doling Supply and Marketing Business Meeting and the Yuchai Supporting Industrial Park Investment Conference were held. More than 900 people from all over the country were involved in the supply and sale business and other related industries. The mayor of Wuxue City, Wu Jingmei, revealed that the municipal government has allocated 3,000 mu of land for the construction of Yuchai’s supporting industrial park.

Also present at the production ceremony were Wu Qingfeng, Director of the Provincial Agricultural Machinery Office, Gao Yingtao, Vice Chairman of the Huanggang CPPCC, Zhang Shejiao, Secretary of the Wuxue City Party Committee, and Gu Tangsheng, Deputy General Manager of the Yuchai Group.
