    Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao High-speed Sensor Surveillance System Before this year's entrance, the intelligent automatic monitoring system was newly installed at the Nangangbang section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao high-speed road. The real-time monitoring system built by cameras, stagnant water scales and sensors will change the situation in the past by visually judging the accumulation of water. This is also the first time that the Beijing Expressway has added this system.

    Electronic eye monitoring bridge area road conditions

    On the morning of May 29th, in the monitoring room of the Nangangzi Pumping Station of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, the display screen was real-time monitoring of the road conditions at the Nangangshan section of the expressway. Afterwards, the staff tapped the mouse and the monitoring screen began to gradually zoom in and zoom in. The final focus was on a white scale in the road divider. The “1, 2, 3” scale above was clearly visible.

    "This is the ruler of the accumulation of water. Once it rains, there will be someone to monitor it," the staff member said.

    The white spherical camera mounted on the side of the highway side slope protection becomes an electronic eye that monitors the road conditions and scales in the bridge area. "Video surveillance is not enough to accurately show the accumulation of water." Zhang Jianyu, the first maintenance and maintenance company's electrical and mechanical project manager, said that in order to control the water depth of the road area in real time, the data transmission function was specifically added in the monitoring system, and the water depth was automatically detected by the sensor. It was the first time in Beijing Expressway.

    Accumulated super 27 cm will alarm

    The ruler is located at the lowest point of Nangang District, more than 20 meters from the railway bridge. A 30 cm long, 30 cm wide, and 20 cm high sink was placed on the green belt and the surface of the sink was flush with the road surface.

    Just like the chopsticks are put into the teacup, the ruler is placed in the sink and the base of the ruler is 20cm long, the same height as the sink. The scale at the bottom of the ruler is 0, followed by 1, 2 up to 9, each of which represents 10 cm.

    A strip-shaped data sensor is also installed in the center of the bottom of the sink. The sensor is connected to the data line and finally connected to the roadside monitoring room. If water accumulates on the road surface, the sensor can measure the depth of the accumulated water according to the change in water pressure in the water tank and transmit it in real time. Once the water level reaches the warning line of 27 cm, the monitoring system will automatically send an alarm message to the command platform and send a mobile phone call alarm to the relevant business person in charge.

    Monitoring system has been installed

    There are a total of 2 stagnant water scales in Nanqiao Yongqiao District. In addition to the green belt, there is one on the road side. The terrain is slightly higher here. When the green belt ruler shows a depth of 27 cm, the roadside scale shows The water depth will be shallower than 27 centimeters, so the side traffic will not immediately take measures such as road closures.

    Zhang Jialu said that at present, the installation of the entire automated monitoring system has been completed and more detailed adjustments will be made after the rain.

    Learned from the lessons learned last year that a large number of vehicles were stranded in flooded road sections, the starting group also made emergency warning countermeasures in the flood season. Once the water in the section exceeds 27 cm, road closure measures will be taken immediately to prevent more vehicles from entering the expressway. At the same time report to the higher authorities, and with the traffic control department to open the U-turn valve, evacuation of the vehicle, U-turn back.
