China's biomass production new fuel industrialization technology has reached a new level

    China Drying Network News China's largest biomass pyrolysis and liquefaction automated production plant was put into operation in Changchun High-tech Zone on the 28th. According to relevant experts, it is a sign that China has overcome some of the world's major problems in the industrialization of biomass pyrolysis technology, and has made the industrialization of new fuels using biomass technology a new level. The biomass pyrolysis automated production line started in Changchun was completed by 13 years of R&D and research by the technical team of the Jilin New Energy Development Co., Ltd. Jilin Province. During this period, the team mastered the core technologies for the efficient production of bio-oil. It solves the technical problems of quick heating of powder, easy blocking of materials, short service life of cracking tubes at high temperature, etc. It overcomes a series of engineering problems such as fine carbon particle removal, high temperature biomass carbon cooling, and cracked gas condensation in bio-oil.

    It is understood that the production plant feeds up to 1.5 tons per hour and the annual processing capacity is 10,000 tons. The continuous reliability of production capacity, product quality and operation have reached the world's advanced level.

    Biomass energy is a kind of renewable energy source. It uses straw and other crops, forest product waste, and all plants that can carry out photosynthesis as raw materials. It rapidly degrades under anaerobic and oxygen-limited conditions, and ultimately produces bio-oil, Biochar and combustible gases. Bio-oil and biomass charcoal can not only replace part of petroleum and coal, but also are intermediates of some chemical products. Therefore, it is a cutting-edge topic in the field of biomass energy and has received extensive attention from countries around the world.

    According to Professor Li Jianlong of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, biomass pyrolysis and liquefaction industrialization technology is very difficult, and it is recognized as a global problem. The anaerobic feeding, rapid thermal cracking, thermal carbon cooling, gas-solid separation, flue gas purification, and heavy oil walling have become insurmountable technical obstacles that have long plagued the technological progress and development of thermal cracking industrialization.
