Delphi announced on May 16 that Wang Zhan has joined Delphi Corporation and is fully responsible for Delphi Electronics and Security Division's Asia Pacific operations. He also served as Managing Director of the Electronic Control Products Business Unit of the Division in the Asia Pacific region. Wang Zhan will become a member of the global high-level committee of the Delphi Electronics and Security Division.
As the head of Delphi's Electronics and Safety Division in the Asia Pacific region, Wang Zhan will lead the leadership team of the Electronics and Safety Business Unit in China, Singapore, India, South Korea and Japan and continue to expand the business of the Division in the Asia Pacific market. In addition, Wang Zhan also serves as the Managing Director of the Electronic Control Products Business Unit of the Electronic and Security Business Unit in the Asia Pacific Region, and is responsible for the Asia Pacific business of the business unit.
Prior to this, Wang Zeng served as the general manager of Eaton’s Automotive Group in Greater China. Wang Zhan worked for Delphi for 14 years and held various positions in Delphi Packard Electronics/Electrical Division and Delphi China Investment Co., Ltd., including Chief Financial Officer of China, Managing Director of Customer Business Department, Commercial Director of China, and Delphi Packard. Managing Director of the China Electronics and Electrical Division and Director of Supply Chain Management in Asia Pacific.
During his tenure at Delphi, Wang Zhan has extensive experience in corporate strategy, customer/media relations, government relations, supplier relationships, business development, and personnel development. Wang Zhan holds a master's degree in economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and an EMBA degree from China Europe International Business School.
