Evonik Industries, Germany, recently stated that it will substantially expand its PEEK capacity in Changchun, China, to meet the growing demand in the global market. The expansion project will be completed in the third quarter of this year. Evonik Industries currently sells Vestakeep's high-temperature and chemical-resistant PEEK polymer products. Vestakeep's PEEK polymers are mainly used in the medical industry, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, entertainment electronics and oil and gas industries.
