Recently, Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan. From June 15, 2018, it has recalled some imported Lincoln Continental vehicles from 2017 to 2018. According to the statistics of the company, a total of 11,044 vehicles were involved.
Some vehicles in this recall area are in contact with the exhaust heat shield in the engine compartment due to the battery wiring harness. This can cause damage to the battery wiring harness and pose potential safety hazards.
Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will inspect the battery harness in the recalled area. If the harness is damaged, the battery harness will be replaced. If the harness is in good condition, the two battery harnesses will be added to ensure the battery. The harness does not have any contact with the exhaust heat shield to eliminate safety hazards. Inventory vehicles will be sold after eliminating defects.
