Higher requirements on machine tool performance

    When we were involved in the design and manufacturing of large-scale rolling mills, we involved some drum-shaped toothed couplings. Originally, we used drums or mechanical masters to process drum-shaped tooth casings. The machining was difficult and the precision was difficult to guarantee. With the rapid development of modern science and technology, the machining precision requirements of mechanical parts are getting higher and higher, which has higher requirements on the machining performance of machine tools. CNC machine tools show its certain superiority. At the time of the replacement of new and old equipment, the transformation of old equipment is becoming more and more important, which not only saves money but also achieves the expected results. To this end, we use the knowledge of mechatronics, organically combine the computer with the original mechanical equipment, and transform the Y3180H hobbing machine, replacing the ordinary screw that the original workbench feeds into a ball screw, and retaining the original workbench quickly. The feeding mechanism and the digital display device are added to make up for the defects of the quick-moving and retracting device for hydraulic movement of the original workbench. The original tool holder axial feed manual mechanism is changed to maneuver, and the original tool holder is quickly lifted and retained.

    The processed circular tooth surface can see a straight line trace at the arc transition. Our analysis is mainly caused by the gap compensation at the arc transition, because the gap compensation is added in the intermediate process of the circular arc transition, which is equivalent to the tool holder. There is no more drop at this time, there is a stop. That straight line is equivalent to the knife-printing. If the inter-compensation is well controlled, the straight line is not very obvious. If the inter-compensation control is not good, the straight line is obvious and ribbed. Since the gap of the machine tool system is dynamic, it is difficult to find a proper compensation value. We repeatedly tested and practiced, and finally found a more appropriate compensation value, and processed the ideal drum tooth. After the inspection by the quality inspection department, the processing of the drum teeth reached the requirements of the drawings.
