A few days ago, the Bosch Group's Rexroth engine factory in Germany negotiated with workers and hoped to reduce the factory's working hours.
A spokesman for the Bosch Group stated that due to the declining demand for parts and components, the Bosch Group hopes to negotiate with Rexroth engine plant workers in the Schweinfurt region of Germany, and Bosch proposes or cuts staff, or cuts working hours.
According to German media reports, the Rexroth engine plant will start reducing work hours in October. The first batch of affected workers will be approximately 450-500, and will increase to 1,100 by the end of this year.
A Bosch spokesperson stated that orders for diesel engine parts at the Feuerbach and Bamberg plants are also falling, but workers at the two factories will not be cut back.
