Porsche will recall 1,702 sports cars in the US market Porsche 911 Turbo

Porsche, the German sports car manufacturer, announced that the company will recall the Porsche 911 Turbo, Turbo S, 911 GT3, GT3 RS and GT2 RS models from 2010 to 2011 in the US market in order to loosen the axles of these vehicles. Replace the screws.

In a document submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Porsche stated that the recall involved a total of 1,702 vehicles, with production dates from May 18, 2009 to September 17, 2010.

Porsche stated that as time goes by, the hub of the vehicle may wear out prematurely and the tires cannot be reliably prevented from loosening, which will increase the risk of a crash.

Porsche has received and confirmed four reports of accidents from Europe related to the above issues. In addition, an accident report from the United States has not yet been confirmed. In this regard, Porsche said that no one was injured in the accident.
