Shanhai Subsidiary Shaanxi Guangtai Special Vehicle and German Dean Cooperate New Energy Sweeper


    On July 8, 2011, Shaanxi Guangtai Special Vehicle Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd., and German Dean Company held a signing ceremony in Xi'an. Both parties agreed to jointly develop a new energy road sweeper.

    According to the agreement of both parties, the cooperation model is based on the plug-in gas-electric hybrid new energy chassis technology developed by Shaanxi Automobile Group and the sweeper-lifting technology developed by Germany's D&A, which uses energy-saving and environmental protection due to the use of gas-electric hybrid power. Aspects have significant advantages.

    The new energy road sweeper that Shaanxi Guangtai Special Vehicle is about to develop will have a very good market prospect because it can use natural gas as an automotive fuel. In particular, the market space for new energy road sweepers will increase as traditional energy prices rise and urban environmental requirements increase. This will not only help optimize the production structure of Shaanxi Automobile Group, but also help promote the development of domestic new energy automobile industry.

    Shaanxi Auto Group is a well-known commercial vehicle manufacturer in China. In 2010, it produced and sold 120,000 cars of all kinds. Its subsidiary, Shaanxi Guangtai Special Purpose Vehicle Co., Ltd., mainly produces special vehicles and auto parts. German Dean Company is an industrial enterprise engaged in the research and development of auto parts and machine tools. It has internationally advanced patented technologies in the aspects of dredging, dust collection, and noise reduction of road sweepers.
