According to the overall goals set by the “Planningâ€, by 2015, the four systems of safety production education and education system, emergency rescue system, major hazard source monitoring and accident hidden trouble management system, and safety technology support system in Wuhan will be more perfect. The production safety accident mortality rate is controlled within 0.1.
According to the person in charge of the Wuhan City Work Safety Supervision Bureau, Wuhan City will build a national-level rescue base for hazardous chemicals in Wuhan on the basis of the existing Jiangnan and Jiangbei Hazardous Chemicals Rescue Bases, relying on the Wuhan Chemical Industry Zone and the Gehua Group. At the same time, it will establish a city-level emergency rescue material warehouse for safety production, and will reserve equipment and emergency materials for the emergency handling of safety accidents, making it a regional leading professional rescue center with strong rescue capabilities.
