Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, the construction of hazardous solid waste landfill construction has begun, and plans to put into operation in the second half of this year. This is the first hazardous solid waste landfill in northern Jiangsu.
The newly-invested Suqian Hazardous Solid Waste Landfill Project has a total investment of 99 million yuan. It is built and operated by China Everbright Environmental Protection and Solid Waste Handling Holdings Co., Ltd. The first-phase storage capacity is 300,000 cubic meters and the service period is 12 years. The design of the landfill site adopts advanced and reliable hazardous waste disposal technologies, and it is disposed of through physical, direct landfill or cement solidification and landfill technologies to ensure that hazardous waste can be properly disposed of and environmental pollution avoided.
