After the arduous test of high temperature and heat, after 14 days of arduous work in 4 days, on July 27th, “E-Yi Duo Shuangya†berthed on the upper reaches of the Sanjiang River of Gezhouba Dam, and declared the Three Gorges, which was organized by the Yangtze River Navigation Administration. The actual ship trials of the three traffic levels of the Gezhouba channel between the two dams during the flood season were successfully completed. This is the first real ship test between the two dams and will be a valuable first-hand information for the navigation operation of the ship and navigation management of the Three Gorges. For the first time, the real ship test between the two dams was implemented by the Three Gorges Navigation Administration Bureau, and the Changjiang Institute of Shipping Scientific Research and related ship units jointly participated. From the 24th to the 27th for a total of four days, the test ships chose 12 vessels of 1000-ton-5000-ton bulk carriers and four vessels of two fleets each year to pass through the gate, representing a total of 16 representative vessels; the most from the Yangtze River The six chief captains of the experience each followed the guidance of the ship, and carried out 14 times in both directions. The study focused on the characteristics of flow conditions in the flood season between the two dams and their effects on different types of ships, towing volume and navigation operations, and provided first-hand data for the pilot study on the navigable flow during the flood season between the two dams, and also to further regulate the two dams in the flood season. Between the ship route, navigation method and driving operation method, optimization of water traffic safety management and ship over-gate dispatching methods provide practical experience.
