With the development of the heavy-duty diesel engine market and the company's growing demand in other areas, Corning has completed its site selection in Shanghai to meet future developments in China. Environmental regulations in emerging markets such as India and China will drive more capacity requirements, so it may be necessary to build a new plant in Shanghai to meet future demand.
