On September 8, 2015, the acceptance meeting for the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan for Science and Technology Support Program was held in Weichai . At the meeting, an expert group led by Cao Xuejun, deputy director of the Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology, accepted the project of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†science and technology support program “Production Process Integration and Information Integration Technology and System Development†project. It is reported that Weichai Power, as the subject participating unit, jointly declares this project with the Ocean University of China and the Beijing University of Science and Technology. The project is supported by the key technology of manufacturing the IOT. It carries out the research on the information integration technology of the manufacturing process and the research and development of the manufacturing process. Supporting the platform and demonstration application of Weichai Power to form an industry solution, providing reference for the integrated application of ICT technology in related industries.
