On January 21, 2016, the awarding ceremony for the “Best Innovative Enterprise†in China was held in Shanghai in a grand manner. Weichai Group won the “Most Innovative State-Owned Industrial Enterprise†award for its outstanding innovation and innovative practices. Wei Dehui, Vice President of Weichai Power, received the award on behalf of the company and participated in the “Innovation Road†seminar in China.

The selection activity was jointly organized by Kearney, an internationally renowned management consulting company, and Business Weekly/Chinese edition of Bloomberg. This was the second time that the selection event was held in China. Through a rigorous assessment of innovation results and innovative practices and on-site inspections, the jury agreed that the Weichai Group is highly innovative and a model for innovation and development of state-owned enterprises.
