X-ray photochromic material performance optimization and functional development studies acceptance

    The project team used the combination strategy of forming clusters of high atomic number atoms, shortening the distance between electrons and acceptors, and increasing the electron acceptor's ability to acquire electrons in response to the problems of existing discolored materials such as slow response time to X-rays (especially hard X-rays). X-ray photochromic materials with X-ray response time less than 5 minutes were obtained; by introducing a discoloration competition mechanism, the first material with energy-dependent X-ray photochromic behavior was obtained, providing a simple way to qualitatively distinguish X-ray energy. Methods: The idea of ​​inlaying color-changing elements between lead halide layers was proposed, and the first material that can both block X-rays and change the X-ray response was obtained, providing a functional alternative to lead glass.
    During the project implementation, 11 SCI papers were published (6 papers in the first and second class journals of chemistry disciplines) and 1 invention patent was authorized; project leaders were awarded “top-notch young scientists” and “excellent members of the Qinghui Society” by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. title.
    The establishment of the Fujian Outstanding Young Scientists Fund project identified and trained a number of outstanding young academic and industry technology leaders in Fujian, and promoted the research and development of science and technology in related disciplines. Since 2009, a total of 17 researchers from Fujian Institute of Materials have received funding from the Provincial Natural Science Foundation Jieqing project, of which two have received rolling support.
