Zhoushan COSCO Shipyard's second 152,000 tons shuttle tanker successfully launched

On July 4, 2016, Zhoushan COSCO Shipyard successfully launched the second 152,000-ton shuttle tanker built by Norwegian KNUTSEN.         It is reported that the ship has a total length of 276 meters, a width of 46 meters, a depth of 24.3 meters, a design draught of 16 meters, a structure draft of 17.5 meters, and a classification of DNV GL classification society. It is the first delivery of Zhoushan COSCO Shipyard for Norwegian KNUTSEN in 2014. A "sister" ship with a 152,000-ton shuttle tanker. At present, the first project "RAQUEL KNUTSEN" is being used by renters and has good performance.
 
        Thanks to the accumulated construction experience of the first ship, since the start of construction, through the technological innovation, product optimization and meticulous organization of production, the project has achieved a number of shortest construction records such as 艉 forming, main hull forming. On June 29th, the project also realized the emergency generator mooring test. This is the first time since the construction of Zhoushan COSCO Shipyard that the emergency generator commissioning and mooring test have been carried out during the loading stage of the ship platform.
