500 million yuan wind power project in the northwest of Erlianhaote City is under construction

In recent years, Erlianhaote has been focusing on policy guidance, striving to develop new energy industries and making every effort to build wind power industry projects. Inner Mongolia Guodian Energy Investment Co., Ltd. Erenhot Wind Farm has a planned capacity of 200 megawatts and a total investment of 500 million yuan, which is located in the northwest direction of Erlianhot City. The first phase of the 49.5 MW project was started in July this year. The project is equipped with 33 units of joint-powered wind turbines and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. After the project is fully put into production, the annual power generation will be about 117 million kWh, and about 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced, which will bring about good economic and social benefits.
