This time, the headquarters decided to build a second turbocharger technology plant in Tin and introduce a small turbocharger business. The new plant is planned to produce 800,000 turbochargers per year. By 2015, the annual sales will reach about 300 million U.S. dollars. At the same time, the president also solemnly promised on behalf of the company: Cummins Wuxi will continue to be a good corporate citizen and actively fulfill corporate social responsibilities.

Since 1996, three companies have been invested in Wuxi: Wuxi Cummins Turbo Technology Co., Ltd. (“CTTâ€), Cummins Generator Technology (China) Co., Ltd. (“CGTâ€) and Wuxi Fanniwell Engineering Co., Ltd. In 2010, the total sales of about 3.5 billion yuan. Each of the company's business is booming. CTT now has a domestic market share of 50% in its turbocharger field. In 2008, it established a technology center in Tin, and currently has about 80 R&D engineers.
