Difficulties in diagnosis of sprinkler diesel engine operation

    First, the phenomenon of failure

    The engine runs smoothly and the exhaust fumes are normal, but the operation is weak. When there is a sudden acceleration, a small amount of black smoke escapes and the engine does not reach the maximum speed.

    Second, the cause of the failure

    The reason for this failure is that the fuel consumption of each cylinder is even and the combustion is complete, but the maximum fuel supply cannot meet the requirements, resulting in the engine not being able to deliver maximum power.

    1, the operating mechanism can not push the fuel pump load control arm to the maximum fuel supply position, such as accelerator pedal pin loose, accelerator pedal length is not appropriate.

    2. The low-pressure oil circuit has too much resistance, the low-pressure oil return valve fails, and the oil pump works poorly, causing the low-pressure oil supply pressure to be too low.

    3. Plunger and needle valve parts wear, oil leakage increases; fuel pump fuel supply is adjusted improperly, the full load of fuel is insufficient; governor due to improper adjustment or high-speed spring becomes soft, resulting in the highest idle speed drop.

    Third, fault diagnosis

    1. When the accelerator pedal is pressed to the end, see if the fuel pump load control arm reaches the maximum fuel supply position. If the load control arm cannot reach the maximum fuel supply position, check the accelerator pedal axis and adjust the lever length.

    2. Loosen the bleed plug of the fuel injection pump. Use an electric fuel pump (or hand pump) to pump oil. Check if the low-pressure oil line is open. If the fuel injection pump is not smooth, or if the oil contains air bubbles, check the blocked area or the air intake area.

    If the oil flow is normal, use a pneumatic motor to drive the engine to see if the fuel pump outlet screw plug at the oil situation, the oil out of normal, indicating that the oil pump works well.

    3. Step on the accelerator pedal and observe the engine's engine tachometer. If it is lower than the maximum idle speed of the engine, it means that the governor is faulty. The fuel pump should be removed for inspection and adjustment. When there is no engine tachometer on the vehicle, the next inspection can be performed.

    4. Remove the injector and check the tightness and fuel injection pressure of each injector needle valve.

    5, after the above inspection and necessary maintenance, the fault can not be ruled out, then the fault in the fuel injection pump.
