As an important part of the car, the engine provides the driving force for the car. The water-cooled engine is one of the truck engines. What happens if the oil pan is flooded during long-term operation?
The reason is that the oil cooler damage causes the engine water
The oil cooler is contained in the water cavity of the machine body. If the added cooling liquid does not meet the standard, it will cause great corrosion to the cooler and even cause the cooler to have rust. Because of the good fluidity of the water, the water outside the cooler penetrates into the internal oil and eventually flows into the oil sump. However, in normal use, the oil cooler is not easily damaged and the quality is very good, so this reason is often easily overlooked.
Cause two: There is a crack in the cylinder block or cylinder head
During normal use, the cylinder or cylinder head generally does not crack, and cracks are mostly caused by human factors. If the temperature drops, the engine is not drained in time after the work is completed, or when the engine body temperature is too high, water is splashed onto the engine body. These are likely to cause cracks in the engine block or cylinder head, resulting in water channel and oil channel intercommunication.
Three reasons, cylinder liner seal damage
Engine cylinder liners and piston rings are a pair of friction pairs that operate under high temperature, high pressure, alternating loads, and corrosion. The long-term work in the complex and changing conditions, the result is that the cylinder liner wear and deformation, affecting the engine's power, economy and service life. If the cylinder sleeve is installed incorrectly, it will directly cause the seal ring to be squeezed and deformed or even be damaged, and finally cause the water in the cylinder body to enter the oil pan directly along the outer wall of the cylinder sleeve.
