R&D and Design Center has formulated a 400,000-ton/year ion-exchange membrane caustic soda construction plan based on the company’s overall strategic plan and the “overall planning and step-by-step implementation†principle. Progress is expected to be completed and put into operation in March 2011.
The R&D and design center of the company has compiled a detailed construction network and capital expenditure plan according to the established construction period, and has clearly defined the division of labor among the various processes, with responsibility to people, measures in place, and speeding up the progress of preparation. First, the layout of the ion-exchange membrane map has basically been determined, and the civil engineering project has started to reorganize the site and set off the road to prepare for the construction of the plant. The second is the ion membrane device electrolysis device, the largest investment, the longest delivery time, has been completed the tender, Asahi Kasei Chemical Co., Ltd. to advanced technology, energy saving and low price and won the bid. The opening of trade unions has been held and basic design is currently underway. Third, the bidding and ordering of a brine purification filter device has been completed and it is expected that the basic design will be completed in March. Fourth, other process equipments are being examined and exchanged in an orderly manner. After the project is completed and put into production, the total capacity of the company's caustic soda plant will reach 400,000 tons/year, and it will enter the ranks of large caustic soda enterprises in China.
