Tianji Group becomes the largest NOx reduction company

    Recently, the Shanxi Tianji Group signed a contract with the UK-based ECO company and the Swiss company Vito to jointly cooperate on nitric oxide (N2O) reduction and nitrous oxide clean development mechanism (CDM) projects. As a symbol, Tianji Group will become the largest NOx reduction company in China.

    In accordance with the agreement, the UK ECO company and the Swiss company VITO provide all funds and technologies for project development, installation and operation. Tianji Group will receive 6.5 million tons of (conservatively estimated) emission rights in the five years since its implementation in 2007 and will sell it to the above two foreign companies at a net price of US$10 per ton of carbon dioxide. According to relevant state regulations, 30% of the proceeds from the CDM project are turned over to the country and 70% to the enterprise. Based on this forecast, the Tianji Group will earn net profit of several tens of millions of yuan each year in the next five years.

    According to reports, the emission reduction technology used in this project is to directly load a Raschig ring catalyst underneath the oxidizing furnace platinum mesh and react with nitrous oxide in oxynitride to achieve a conversion rate of 80% to 90% of 2N2O. = 2N2 + O2 decomposition, service life of 3 years. This method is simple, easy to invest, and it is particularly suitable for the double-pressurized nitric acid device that is tired of the GP flow.

    Tianji Group is currently the largest nitric acid production base in China with an annual output of 810,000 tons. The nitric acid gas generated by the nitric acid plant during the production process is commonly known as laughing gas. Under normal production conditions, it cannot be converted into useful nitrogen dioxide, nor can it be absorbed by water, but is directly discharged into the atmosphere. Nitrous oxide is one of the most powerful greenhouse gases that cause climate change. The greenhouse effect potential is 310 times that of carbon dioxide. It is more destructive to the ozone layer than freon, and it can persist in the atmosphere for 150 to 170 years. Once formed, it is not easy to disappear. . The contribution to global warming is 6%. In recent years, the atmospheric concentration has increased rapidly.
