Total global rubber consumption reached 26.6 million tons in 2012

    According to the latest forecast by the International Rubber Research Organization (IRSG), the total global rubber consumption in 2012 will reach 26.6 million tons, which is expected to reach 27.6 million tons in 2013.

    Among them, global demand for synthetic rubber is expected to increase by 2.7% in 2012 to 15.4 million tons, and will further increase to 15.9 million tons in 2013; global demand for natural rubber will increase by 2.5% in 2012 to 11.2 million tons, 2013 It further increased to 11.7 million tons.
