Haohua Aerospace recently successfully produced qualified products for the trichlorosilane project, which became another economic growth point for the company to cope with the financial crisis and resolve business risks.
It is understood that the trichlorosilane project is a basic raw material for the production of polysilicon, and it is a product with high sales revenue, large market potential and good economic benefits based on the sustainable development of chlor-alkali enterprises. It is reported that after the project is put into production, annual sales income of 300 million yuan and profits and taxes of 90 million yuan can be realized. Currently, Yuhua Aerospace is actively planning the second and third phases of the project. After the project is completed, the total production capacity will reach 100,000 tons.
In recent years, the annual production scale of Caohua Aerospace’s leading products, caustic soda and polyvinyl chloride, has reached 400,000 tons respectively, and the actual production capacity ranks at the forefront in the national calcium carbide production enterprises. While expanding the scale of its main business, Yuhua Aerospace focused on the development of chlor-alkali products and related products. In March 2008, a variety of financing forms were adopted to start the construction of 20,000 tons of trichlorosilane project. The project was identified as a key project of chlor-alkali industry to silicon photovoltaic industry and new energy industry by the Jiaozuo City of Henan Province. After more than seven months of intense construction, the project was successfully completed and put into production on November 16.
