Guizhou Mercury Mine Erkeng Concentrator (1)

    The plant in 1979 by the Changsha Metallurgy Design and Research Institute have my design, officially put into operation in October 1981, designed capacity 300t / d.
    (1) Ore properties: The ore is a low-temperature hydrothermal layer-like integrated type deposit. The main metallic minerals cinnabar, associated with a small amount of pyrite, stibnite, sphalerite and natural mercury. Gangue minerals are dolomite, quartz times, very small amounts of calcite and sericite, feldspar, kaolin and the like. The mercury content of the ore is 0.1~0.3%. The analysis of other elements is shown in the table below.

    Cinnabar (HgS) is mainly embedded in silicified dolomite , which is in the form of other crystals, which are filled with granules between quartz particles, and a small amount of granules are quartz inclusions. The cinnabar grain is generally 0.4~0.6mm, the maximum grain size is 12mm, and the minimum is 0.002mm.
    The density of cinnabar is large (8.0~8.2t/m3), the hardness is low (f=2.5), the brittleness is large, the color is bright, the hydrophobicity is large, and the floatability is good.
    The ore density is 2.8t/m 3 , the loose density is 1.5~1.6t/m 3 , and the ore hardness is f=8~12.
    (2) Process flow: The maximum particle size of the ore is 350~0mm. The two-stage one-closed crushing process is adopted, and the final crushed product has a particle size of 16~0 mm. After the rod is milled, it enters the shaker and chooses cinnabar. The shaker tailings are not dehydrated and all are added to the ball mill for re-grinding. In addition to grinding the shaker tailings, the ball mill adds a part of the ore. The grinding particle size is less than 0.074 mm 75%. According to the characteristics of the ore being unevenly embedded, the heavy-floating combined sorting process is used to recover the cinnabar and cinnabar concentrate to achieve early harvest, overcharge and reduce metal loss. The process is simple, flexible, and works well, as shown in the following figure:
