The reporter learned from the Guizhou Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau that the inspectors collected a total of 30 batches of car seat cushion samples in the market. After inspection, the 21 batches of combustion characteristics did not meet the standard requirements, and the problem product detection rate was 70%. Among them, the combustion characteristics of 17 batches of products are Grade E, which does not meet the standard requirements. The combustion characteristics of the 4 batches are D grade, and the burning speed is greater than 100mm/min. According to the standard requirements, the fuel consumption characteristics are rated as A and B grades are qualified, C and D grades and the burning speed is not more than 100mm/min. The sample is rated as E grade and is unqualified.
At present, the quality supervision department has notified the relevant departments of the risk monitoring results. Quality supervision staff reminded that consumers should choose materials and heavy flame retardant when purchasing car seat cushions. It is recommended to choose products with relatively good flame retardant properties such as leather.
