In the third quarter of 2010, the export volume of the chemical industry increased 42.8% year-on-year

After preliminary seasonal adjustments, the export volume of the chemical industry in the third quarter of 2010 was US$19.66 billion, a year-on-year increase of 42.8%, and the year-on-year growth rate was 2.3 percentage points higher than the previous quarter; it was up 9.9% month on month and the chain growth rate was 4.4 percentage points higher than the previous quarter. Random factors drove the chemical industry to export 170 million U.S. dollars, and the random factors had little effect.
In the quarter, the export volume of the chemical industry achieved double-on-quarter growth, and the year-on-year growth rate has basically stabilized near the average of the past 10 years. With the cancellation of the tax rebate and the effect of the second exchange reform, the export volume of the chemical industry will fall back in the fourth quarter.
