Mineral processing method of associated molybdenum mineral

    Product recovery from other multi-metal ore over a third of the world's molybdenum production. Peru and Chile molybdenum from the copper mineral processing plant are recovered as a byproduct.
    Ore from the associated recovery of molybdenum, mainly from porphyry copper, from a small amount of molybdenum, tungsten, iron ore erbium, bismuth molybdenum, uranium and molybdenum.
    The porphyry copper deposit has a low copper content, generally 0.5-0.7% Cu, and contains about 0.01-0.03% of molybdenum. The porphyry copper deposits are large in reserves and the size of the plant is large, so the amount of molybdenum produced by the company is considerable.
    The molybdenum minerals in the copper deposits of porphyry copper deposits are impregnated with copper minerals by very fine particles. The molybdenum is recovered from the porphyry copper ore. The beneficiation is generally carried out by copper-molybdenum mixed coarse selection, and the mixed coarse concentrate is mixed and selected to obtain a molybdenum-containing copper concentrate containing more than 20% of the copper crystal position. Then pretreatment before copper and molybdenum separation: concentrated decontamination, cooking, re-grinding, etc., and copper and molybdenum separation and molybdenum selection. Copper-molybdenum separation usually uses copper-suppressed molybdenum; only the Bingham concentrator in the United States uses molybdenum-free float copper. Molybdenum selection uses two or three re-grindings and four to more selections. Due to the difference of copper-bearing minerals, the difference in the grade of copper and molybdenum in the ore and the influence of impurities, the recovery rate of molybdenum varies greatly, about 30~70%.
