ABC Chicago has a detailed article [here](#).
According to a Chicago Fire Department spokesperson, the warehouse on the south side that caught fire Tuesday night is expected to be a total loss. Initial reports indicated the fire was under control but quickly escalated. Flames spread to at least one neighboring building, causing concern among firefighters due to potential chemical hazards inside.
It’s clear this was a challenging situation for everyone involved. Stay safe out there, and thanks to all the first responders who worked tirelessly through the night.
