A total of 13,680 Pentium X40 (MT) cars were produced from September 26, 2016 to August 30, 2017.
Some vehicles within the scope of this recall are unreasonable due to the layout of the wiring harness of the instrument panel. The assembly process of the instrument panel assembly is not in place, which may cause friction interference between the wiring harness of the instrument panel and the clutch pedal bracket. Under extreme conditions, there may be a short-circuit of the wiring harness, which may cause a fire in the vehicle, a flameout during driving, and a self-explosion of the airbag. FAW Car Co., Ltd. will inspect and repair the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge. If the harness is damaged, replace the new harness; if the harness is not damaged, arrange the wiring harness in a new way to eliminate potential safety hazards.
