The Algonquin-Lake In The Hills Fire Protection District serves both MABAS Division 2 and MABAS Division 5. Based in Lake In The Hills on Algonquin Road, the district operates from three stations. Recently, they welcomed two new units from Ferrara: an MVP pumper mounted on an Igniter chassis and a rear-mount tower ladder on an Inferno chassis. In addition, they added two brand-new Medtec ambulances equipped with Freightliner M2106 Business Class chassis. The remaining frontline engines include a pair of KME Predator rescue pumpers.
