Insect killing lamps are based on the habit of insect pests to light and use high-voltage power grids or water basins to entice them to kill. As an effective complement to chemical control, light trapping plays an important role in green agriculture, organic agriculture, and pollution-free agriculture. In addition to killing pests in farmland and protecting the normal growth of crops, insecticidal lamps can also be used to control stored grain and insects, collect specimens, and feed livestock and poultry. At the present stage, the commonly used insecticidal lamps include fluorescent lamps, high-pressure pump lamps, energy-saving lamps, solar insect killer lamps, and intelligent insecticidal lamps. For pests that do not have phototaxis or phototaxis for only a single wavelength of light, technical studies should be conducted on their activity patterns.
