This message is from Steve Redick:
I captured these images around 0515 on Thursday morning. Getting clear shots was quite challenging due to the dense smoke and the elevated train tracks obscuring much of the scene. The best view I could manage was of the rear section of the building, which was upwind. However, the dangerously arcing electrical wires prevented me from getting too close. Since it was a plating facility, hazardous materials protocols were in effect, leading to some local evacuations. It was great to see the new Tower Ladder 5 (TL5) in action. The older TL10 had an outdated HME spare and was operating very conservatively.
You can check out all the images [here](#).
