(NASDAQ: ADSK) announced the release of SketchBook Pro 7 for both Windows and Mac operating systems, along with a fresh subscription model for Autodesk SketchBook, a suite of digital painting and sketching applications boasting over 25 million users worldwide.
An indispensable tool for every digital artist, from beginners to seasoned illustrators and concept designers, SketchBook Pro 7 introduces several community-driven features, such as Perspective Guides with one-point, two-point, three-point, and fisheye modes. Additionally, it includes Flipbook mode with an animation timeline, a revamped drawing engine, and workflow enhancements like Distort Transform, Gradient Flood Fills, improved Selection tools, layer grouping, multi-layer selection, and Blending modes.

Signing up for a free SketchBook membership grants access to SketchBook Essentials, a more advanced set of tools designed to refine the digital artist's workflow. Features such as layer management, a comprehensive color palette, customizable brushes, dynamic symmetry, and ruler tools are included to offer artists greater precision and control over their work, enabling them to tackle more intricate designs and illustrations.
A paid subscription at $24.99 annually or $2.99 monthly unlocks the full potential of SketchBook Pro 7, providing access to cutting-edge tools like Flipbook mode, Perspective Guides, and Distort Transform features. It also enhances existing tools, such as the improved layer editor with blending modes and layer grouping, as well as upgraded selection tools.
