At Autodesk, we’ve always believed in the power of design to drive meaningful change. Today, we’re thrilled to announce that our Industry Collections are now accessible to entrepreneurs and nonprofit innovators worldwide. This means that designers and creators tackling pressing issues like climate change, healthcare, and poverty now have access to the latest tools and technologies to amplify their impact.
Since its founding, Autodesk has been committed to empowering customers who use design as a force for good. One of the ways we do this is through our Technology Impact Program, which donates software to nonprofits globally that are dedicated to environmental or social causes. Since launching in 2013, we’ve supported over 1,200 organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, UNHCR, and Build Health International. These groups are building homes, protecting vulnerable populations, and constructing high-quality healthcare facilities in underserved areas.
Another exciting initiative is the Entrepreneur Impact Program, which provides software, training, and networking opportunities to startups aiming to make a difference. Initially launched as the Cleantech Partner Program in 2009, it has since grown into a global network reaching thousands of entrepreneurs. Among our beneficiaries are companies like FreeWire, which creates EV chargers using second-life EV batteries, and BioLite, a social enterprise providing energy solutions to off-grid communities. There’s also Little Sparrows Technologies, offering affordable phototherapy devices for treating jaundice in areas without reliable electricity, and Vantage Power, which retrofits diesel buses with hybrid powertrains to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
In addition to these programs, the Autodesk Foundation plays a vital role by investing in individuals and organizations driving impactful design. Established in 2013, the Foundation supports 35 grantee customers worldwide. Grantees like D-Rev, MASS Design Group, and Water for People are making strides in improving global health, infrastructure, and access to clean water.
These changemakers are using Autodesk’s Industry Collections to access essential software tailored to their industries. Whether it’s architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or product design, our tools empower them to innovate and create solutions that truly matter.
Every day, we’re inspired by the incredible work of these customers and partners. It’s humbling and rewarding to see how our software and services help them address some of the world’s biggest challenges. Together, let’s continue to imagine, design, and build a brighter future.
