Fusion Production makes its debut at Autodesk’s “Factory of the Future”

    Last week, I had the privilege of being at Autodesk’s newly launched Advanced Manufacturing Facility (AMF) in Birmingham, UK. It was a great opportunity to showcase one of our latest innovations—Autodesk Fusion Production. The AMF is a cutting-edge space designed for smart manufacturing, equipped with the latest tools and technologies that help companies push the boundaries of what's possible. Fusion Production is a cloud-based platform that brings together production scheduling, job tracking, and CNC machine monitoring through the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). It’s part of our broader vision to make smart manufacturing accessible to all. We first introduced it last November at Autodesk University in Las Vegas, and since then, it has been gaining traction as a powerful tool for teams across design, manufacturing, and operations. What makes Fusion Production stand out is its ability to provide real-time visibility into the production process, whether your team is working on-site or remotely. It allows seamless collaboration and data sharing between design and manufacturing, bridging the gap between creative ideas and physical outputs. This level of integration helps reduce errors and improves efficiency. During my time at the AMF, I had the chance to demonstrate how Fusion Production can be integrated with other Autodesk tools like PowerMill. For instance, we can automate the flow of data directly from PowerMill to Fusion Production, enabling operators to start machines right from the app interface. This not only speeds up the process but also minimizes manual input and potential mistakes. One of the key features that impressed our customers was the ability to collect and analyze data throughout the production cycle. With Fusion Production, they can monitor performance, spot bottlenecks, and use data-driven insights to make smarter decisions. It’s a game-changer for those looking to optimize their workflows and improve throughput. I also had the opportunity to meet with Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost, who saw Fusion Production in action and shared his enthusiasm about its potential. It was clear that this is more than just a new product—it’s a step toward a future where manufacturing becomes more connected, efficient, and intelligent. The manufacturing industry is evolving rapidly, and we’re excited to be at the forefront of this transformation. Fusion Production is just the beginning, and there are many more innovations coming down the line.     Tower Crane Cabin

    Tower Crane cabin is the control center of the crane and is attached to the slewing unit. In order to get to the tower crane cab, the operator must climb a series of ladders within the mast.

    The movement of the tower crane is controlled from the operator's cabin. Within the tower crane cabin, you'll find the operator's chair with joystick controller, electronic monitoring devices, and communication systems. Many cabins come with climate control to ensure a comfortable work environment. The Operator Cabin for Tower Crane is part of the slewing assembly.


    A cabin for a tower crane is a small enclosed space located at the top of the tower crane Mast Section or tower crane jib. It is where the crane operator sits and controls the crane's movements and operations. The tower crane cabin is typically made of steel or aluminum and is designed to provide a safe and comfortable working environment for the operator. It is equipped with controls, instruments, and communication systems that allow the operator to maneuver the crane, lift and lower loads, and communicate with other personnel on the construction site. The cabin is often equipped with heating and air conditioning systems to ensure the operator's comfort in various weather conditions. Safety features such as guardrails, harness attachment points, and emergency controls are also included in the cabin design to protect the operator in case of accidents or emergencies.
